The Delivery Driver at our farm store plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their purchases promptly and safely. This individual will be responsible for loading customer orders onto our delivery vehicle, transporting these orders to the customer’s location, and unloading the items upon arrival. The Delivery Driver will also manage delivery documentation and maintain open communication with customers to provide updates on delivery times.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with customer orders
- Navigating to delivery locations in a timely and safe manner
- Checking orders before delivery to ensure that the correct items have been loaded
- Handling delivery paperwork, including order confirmations and delivery receipts
- Communicating with customers to provide delivery updates
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in a delivery role is preferred
- Excellent navigation skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting heavy items
